Terms and Conditions
1. The service
Pauls Tools is an AI-supported tool for personal reflection and the development of leadership.
The leadership scan and the first evaluation are free. The 30-day path, the chat with Paul and further cycles are part of a paid subscription (see section 2).
2. Prices, subscription and payment
The leadership scan and the first evaluation are free and will stay free. For the 30-day path, the chat with Paul and further cycles you need a subscription.
The subscription costs €9.95 per month or €99 per year, in each case excluding VAT. At the German rate of 19 % that is €11.84 and €117.81 gross; the rate that applies to you depends on your country and is shown during checkout. The total shown there is the one that applies.
The subscription renews automatically for the term you chose unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current term — without giving a reason and without contacting us, in your account under “Manage or cancel subscription”. If your access was a gift from us, it simply runs out; nothing is ever charged.
Payment is handled by Stripe. Your invoices are available at any time in the subscription management area.
xpand partners receive a 50 % discount: use an xpand email address at checkout and it is applied automatically. For technical reasons each order can use either that discount or a voucher code, not both — if no automatic discount applies, the voucher field appears at checkout instead. If the discount ever fails to apply, just get in touch and we will make it right.
The contract is concluded when you complete checkout and we confirm your access. It can be concluded in German, English, Dutch, Spanish, Italian or French — the language you go through checkout in is the one that applies; where the language versions differ, the German one prevails. These terms and our privacy policy apply in the version valid at the time of purchase; we do not store the contract text separately, and you can retrieve and print it here at any time.
3. Right of withdrawal for consumers
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (xpand Deutschland GmbH, Ernst-Penzoldt-Weg 9, 91080 Spardorf, Deutschland, Telefon +49 (0) 821 217000 80, E-Mail office@xpand.pro) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement — for example an email. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction; in no event will you be charged any fees as a result of this reimbursement.
Early expiry of the right of withdrawal: because Pauls Tools is a digital service available immediately after purchase, we expressly ask for your consent during checkout that we may begin performance before the withdrawal period expires. By giving that consent you also acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (§ 356(5) German Civil Code).
4. Not professional advice
The content, reflections and chat answers are for inspiration and reflection. They are not legal, medical, psychological or any other professional advice.
5. Availability and changes
We keep developing Pauls Tools, so individual features may change. Uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. We will notify you by email in advance of any significant change to what an active subscription includes.
6. Your responsibility
Do not enter highly sensitive personal data of third parties into the chat or input fields. You are responsible for the content you enter.
7. Liability
Use is at your own responsibility. Liability for decisions made on the basis of the content is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
